Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl, pre-Islamic hanif of Banu Adi. Rejected polytheism even before the revelation and sought the religion of Abraham. Father of Sa'id ibn Zayd (one of the Ten Promised Paradise). Died 5 years before the Hegira, hence before the revelation.
